Keynote:Digital Footprints!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This keynote covers what a digital footprint is, and our responsibility as educators to help our students create appropriate digital footprints, not ugly digital tattoos.

In 2030, the students that are now entering our schools in Kindergarten will be entering the job market. What will it look like? How are we, as educators, preparing our students to be successful in their careers when we don’t have a very clear idea of what it will look like? Will we still have physical schools? Will test scores be important? Will they need to know how to read? We will look at these issues as well as what some companies ( Google ) are doing now to help their employees, and us as educators, look at problems in new and different ways.
